Extremism and Radicalisation

We recognise that extreme views of many kinds can be destructive especially when those who express them are unable or unwilling to listen and take account of the views of others. We hold the values of understanding and tolerance as paramount and so they are explored through all aspects of the work in school, explicit in lessons and implicit in all relationships and conversations within the school. Staff are aware of the risks of radicalisation and alert to students who may be at risk as individuals. Students who express concerns are listened to and appropriate action is always taken.

If you have any concerns please contact Mrs. Stammers, Deputy Head and SENCO.
